Vinicius Júnior has made a disappointing start to the season, falling well short of the level expected of him at Real Madrid. The club had hoped that his contract renewal would help the No. 7 regain his best form, but so far, he has been among the squad's least convincing performers.
The Brazilian has recorded just one goal and three assists in eight appearances, with his performances failing to match the standards he has previously set. Physically, he appears below his best, while his confidence also seems to have taken a hit.
Vinicius has been less consistent with his runs and has attempted fewer dribbles, while his finishing has also regressed. His current performances are reportedly raising concerns within the club.
According to Ok Diario, Real Madrid are increasingly worried that Vinicius' poor form could become a recurring problem rather than simply a temporary dip. The club is therefore monitoring the situation closely as it looks for signs of the Brazilian returning to his best level.
