Vinicius Jr remains under observation after Brazil’s defeat to France, as the forward did not train with the rest of the squad and is currently a doubt for the upcoming match against Croatia, according to Globo Esporte.
While awaiting official confirmation from the Brazilian Football Confederation about his physical condition, the Brazilian star trained separately in the gym and later received treatment from the national team’s medical staff. Vinicius was seen at the Orlando training center wearing sneakers and was unable to join his teammates on the pitch.
The Real Madrid forward felt discomfort in his thigh following the physical demands of the match against France. Medical tests carried out on Friday ruled out any injury, but the Brazilian number 10 was rested during training as a precaution.
According to the Brazilian Football Confederation, the situation is simply a matter of workload management, and there is optimism that he will be available for Tuesday’s match despite the current uncertainty. Meanwhile, Real Madrid have not yet received any official update regarding the player’s condition, as the Brazilian medical staff have not contacted the club’s doctors so far.
