Víctor Muñoz continues to rise at remarkable speed. The young attacker marked his debut with Spain’s senior national team with a goal, confirming the rapid progress that has turned him into one of the most talked-about emerging talents in Spanish football.

Only a few months ago, Osasuna sporting director Braulio Vázquez identified the Real Madrid youth product and secured his transfer from La Fábrica for five million euros. Since then, the Catalan attacking midfielder has moved quickly from playing with Castilla to becoming a regular starter in LaLiga and now making his first appearance with the national team under Luis de la Fuente. His development has drawn significant attention, and many already believe his market value could far exceed the amount Osasuna initially paid.

Real Madrid, however, retain strong control over the player’s future. The transfer agreement includes a buy-back clause worth eight million euros, meaning the Madrid club would only need to invest three million euros more after the original five million to bring him back. The clause can be activated within the next three years, although the price is expected to increase over time. The decision now rests with Florentino Pérez’s club on whether to exercise that option or allow the player to continue his development at Osasuna.

In addition, Osasuna set a release clause of 40 million euros in the contract. The deal also established that both clubs share the player’s economic rights equally, meaning Real Madrid would receive 50 percent of any future transfer fee if Osasuna sell him.

The agreement resembles the structure Real Madrid arranged with Como for Nico Paz. It gives the Madrid club significant influence over the player’s future while maintaining the possibility of bringing him back for a relatively modest fee compared to the amounts often paid by Premier League clubs for promising talents emerging from La Fábrica.

Muñoz’s international debut further boosted his profile. With Braulio Vázquez watching from the stands, the forward scored Spain’s third goal in the 72nd minute. The move combined creativity and precision, beginning with a through pass from Dani Olmo and a clever backheel from Ferran Torres before Muñoz finished with pace and accuracy.

His performances at Osasuna have already been impressive. The youngster has played 29 matches, scored five goals and established himself as a regular starter under Alessio Lisci. Known by some as the “supersonic kid”, his value continues to rise, while Real Madrid still hold the option to bring him back for a relatively small fee.
