According to journalist Ben Fernandes Santos, Fede Valverde is awaiting medical tests after finishing El Clásico with discomfort in his right hamstring. The Uruguayan midfielder played 62 minutes against Barcelona before being replaced by Denzel Dumfries, with the substitution prompted by the physical discomfort he was experiencing.
Valverde has been one of Real Madrid's standout performers in recent matches. He has rediscovered his best form since José Mourinho moved him to right-back, delivering impressive performances while also helping the team's forwards by giving them more freedom and providing better service.
The tactical adjustment has proved to be one of Real Madrid's most effective changes this season. However, Valverde's physical condition is now a concern, with the midfielder awaiting medical tests ahead of the upcoming match against Racing Santander at El Sardinero.
