Florentino Pérez confirmed in an interview on the television programme Horizonte that he is preparing a major move in the transfer market, revealing plans to submit a €150 million offer to a Champions League club.

Speaking to Iker Jiménez, the Real Madrid president stated that the offer will be made next Tuesday, although he refused to disclose the identity of the player involved despite repeated attempts to extract the name.

Pérez ruled out several options during the interview, confirming that the target is not Doku, Olise, Haaland, and that he does not play in the Premier League. However, subsequent reports have suggested that his comments may not fully reflect Real Madrid’s actual interest.

According to information from Diario AS, the French winger Michael Olise remains a strong candidate for the operation, despite being indirectly dismissed in the president’s remarks. The player is now considered one of the most likely targets for the proposed investment.

Journalist Jorge Picón reports that Real Madrid have already made contact with the player’s representatives, although the club has not publicly confirmed the identity of the target.

Fabrizio Romano has also indicated that the decision to avoid naming the player publicly is linked to respect for Bayern Munich, with Pérez reportedly preferring to approach the German club directly before any official confirmation.

As a result, Olise continues to be strongly linked with a potential €150 million move to Real Madrid, despite ongoing public ambiguity surrounding the operation.
