The Santiago Bernabéu has transformed into much more than a football stadium. Following its renovation, it now serves as a leisure hub where gastronomy and culture play a leading role. Within this new concept, Starbucks has officially opened a flagship store at one of the stadium’s back ends.

Spanning 900 square meters across two floors, the new location is operated by Alsea and designed in collaboration with the Starbucks brand and Premium Experience. The result is an impressive space that blends architectural innovation with the company’s signature identity. As a unique feature, Madrid artist Cristina Mejías has created a suspended sculpture in the central atrium, abstractly representing the iconic Mermaid from the Starbucks logo.

Among its main attractions is the mixology bar, where Coffee Masters prepare original cocktails and host private tastings with exclusive views of the pitch. This venue, Starbucks’ 222nd store in Spain, also stands as the brand’s most ambitious project in the country.

Under the motto “Passion for coffee, passion for Madrid,” the Bernabéu store seeks to embody the strong connection between the brand and the Spanish capital, offering a truly unique sensory experience. Designed with privileged views of the stadium, the flagship reflects the light, rhythm, and energy of Madrid, establishing itself as a meeting point for residents, travelers, and lovers of urban lifestyle.

On the culinary side, Starbucks has teamed up with Novo Mondo and The Cookie Lab to bring visitors award-winning croissants and some of Madrid’s most famous cookies, reinforcing its ambition to become one of the most visited cafés in Spain.
