Former Real Madrid captain Manolo Sanchís analyzed both potential signings during his appearance on El Partidazo de COPE, highlighting the areas where he believes the team needs improvement.

Sanchís explained that the club is fully aware of the squad's shortcomings in recent seasons. "Real Madrid is aware of the deficiencies the squad has had in these last two seasons."

According to the former defender, the main issue has been the lack of specialists capable of providing stability and balance to the team.

When asked about the possibility of signing Rodri, Sanchís was unequivocal. "Man. You say Rodri and I'd sign three times over."

For Sanchís, the Spanish midfielder represents exactly the profile Real Madrid needs: a player capable of controlling matches, organizing play, and improving the team's overall structure.

The former defender also praised the potential arrival of Yan Diomandé, describing the young attacker as a player with "tremendous potential" who would add more competition and quality to the forward line.

However, he insisted that midfield remains the priority. "Even so, I'm still waiting for the signing that I think the team needs most."
