Movistar Plus+ Deportes cameras captured chants and insults aimed at Kylian Mbappé from a section of the Mestalla crowd during Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Valencia.
“Mbappé, you son of a bitch!” was clearly heard being shouted from the stands in the direction of the French forward.
Despite the footage and the audibility of the chants, the referee did not include any reference to the insults in his official match report, instead describing the atmosphere under the section “Crowd” as “normal.”
