Real Madrid's youth academy has suffered the departure of one of its most highly rated young prospects. David Sánchez Miralles, regarded as one of the standout talents of La Fábrica, will join Getafe's youth setup ahead of next season.
The move was first reported by Cadena COPE and later confirmed by the player himself through his social media channels.
The 12-year-old leaves Real Madrid after spending several years in the club's academy, having originally arrived from Novelda with his family. He will now continue his development at Getafe.
Sánchez earned a strong reputation within the academy system thanks to his performances in youth competitions, particularly the Liga Promises tournament. His technical ability, vision, and confidence in one-on-one situations made him one of the most notable players of his age group.
