They sit ahead of Barcelona with 28 points, Celta Vigo with 24, and Villarreal with 21.
This strong record is built on balance at both ends of the pitch. Real Madrid have scored 27 goals away from home, while conceding only 14, the joint-best defensive record alongside Celta Vigo.
Their impressive run began early in the season with a 3-0 victory over Real Oviedo and has continued consistently, including a 2-1 win at Balaídos against Celta Vigo on Matchday 27.
A total of eleven different players have contributed goals away from home, with Kylian Mbappé leading the way with 14.
