Real Madrid could return to their traditional colours for the 2027-28 season, moving away from the unusual shades featured in their current kits. Although the 2026-27 campaign has only recently begun, the club's potential colour schemes for next season have already emerged.
According to Footy Headlines, the home shirt will retain the iconic white as its primary colour, complemented by purple details. The design is also expected to feature a subtle checkered pattern across the front, adding a modern touch to the traditional look.
The second kit could mark a return to another familiar combination, with black as the dominant colour and white as the secondary shade. The design would recall the 2014-15 away shirt, which featured a dragon graphic and became widely celebrated among football fans.
Meanwhile, the third kit is reportedly set to feature purple as its main colour, incorporating a modern graphic design inspired by classic tones. Footy Headlines has yet to confirm the secondary colour, although white is considered a possibility.
These reports concern the expected colours rather than the final designs, meaning details could still change. Nevertheless, Real Madrid appear set for a potential return to their traditional white, black and purple palette in 2027-28.
