Real Madrid will face Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague playoff quarter-finals after finishing third in the regular season. Sergio Scariolo’s side will take on the sixth-placed team in a best-of-five series with home-court advantage.
The first two games will be held at the Movistar Arena starting on April 28 or 29. The third game, and a potential fourth, will be played away the following week. If required, a decisive fifth game will take place in Madrid.
This will be the first EuroLeague playoff meeting between the two teams. Their only previous encounters came earlier this season, with Real Madrid winning both matches, 74-75 away and 92-83 at the Movistar Arena.
