CD Castellón and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Fran Santamaría (2008), who will join the Madrid club next season. The striker departs his hometown side after spending his entire career there, following a standout campaign marked by consistent goalscoring and performances beyond his age.

At just 17, Santamaría has scored 15 goals in 32 appearances this season. The second-year youth player netted 2 goals in 15 matches for Castellón B, along with 13 goals in 17 games for the Juvenil A side in the División de Honor. Standing at 1.85 meters and capable of using both feet, he has established himself as a highly promising attacking talent.

The forward becomes the most expensive youth sale in Castellón’s history and continues his rapid development. He finished as the top scorer in his group at the highest youth level before earning opportunities to train with the reserve team. His progression now leads him to La Fábrica, where he will begin the next stage of his career at Valdebebas.
