Reports claiming that Franco Mastantuono could leave Real Madrid on loan in January have been categorically denied.
According to Fabrizio Romano, those rumors are far from the truth and do not align with the club’s current plans for the young Argentine.
Both Real Madrid and Xabi Alonso consider Mastantuono a fundamental part of the sporting project, despite his youth and limited first-team experience. Internally, the club highly values his technical quality, personality, and tactical intelligence, seeing him as a key asset for both the present and the future.
Rather than sending him out on loan, Real Madrid intend to develop Mastantuono within the club, with Xabi Alonso personally involved in guiding his progression. The plan is for him to remain integrated into the first-team environment, gaining experience gradually while being carefully protected as one of the club’s long-term investments.
