Real Madrid resumed action in the Liga ACB following the international break with a narrow 80-82 away victory over Gran Canaria. The win marked the team’s tenth consecutive triumph on the road and their nineteenth overall, allowing them to maintain a three point lead over the second placed side in the standings.
The contest remained tightly balanced throughout and required a late push from Madrid. Andrés Feliz ultimately sealed the victory with a buzzer beating basket. Facundo Campazzo delivered the standout performance of the night, finishing with 18 points including four three pointers and a performance rating of 24.
During the game, the players wore black armbands as a tribute to Real Madrid legend Vicente Paniagua.
