Last Friday, Real Madrid announced that it would "provisionally reschedule its agenda of events and concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu" due to non-compliance with municipal noise regulations. Despite the stadium’s soundproofing efforts and reinforcement measures, the club decided to postpone all events until the sound levels during concerts and gatherings meet legal requirements.
Real Madrid is working closely with the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council to address the issue. Improvements to the stadium are already underway. According to journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz from Cadena Cope, the club has a detailed plan to reduce noise levels.
"The club is not going to give up. The acoustic project is continuing," Díaz explained. To reduce the decibel levels, panels will be installed in the upper section of the stadium, a glass roof will be added for safety, and the curtains in the vomitories will be replaced with shutters to prevent noise from escaping.
