Real Madrid are finalizing preparations for their upcoming General Assembly of Members, which, pending official confirmation, is expected to take place on the morning of Saturday, November 21, the same day the team faces Celta Vigo. It will be the first meeting between Florentino Pérez and his Board of Directors and the club's member representatives since their victory in last June's elections.

According to AS, the reform of the club's statutes to change its corporate structure will not feature on the agenda, should the proposal eventually go ahead.

Real Madrid are still assessing how best to approach this significant change, guided by the principles Florentino Pérez outlined at last year's General Assembly: protecting the club's assets from both external and internal threats while ensuring that its nearly 100,000 members remain recognized as its true owners. Given the legal complexities and potential consequences of such a major reform, the club has decided not to submit a formal proposal for discussion and a vote by the delegates at this stage.

Following the regular business at last year's meeting, Florentino told members that he would call an extraordinary General Assembly to discuss and vote on the proposal. He also explained that, after receiving initial approval from the delegates, the initiative would need to be ratified through a referendum involving all club members.

The approval of last season's financial accounts will, as usual, feature on the agenda. Real Madrid recorded a record revenue of €1.221 billion, marking the third consecutive season in which the club has surpassed the €1 billion threshold.
