After the international break, Real Madrid is preparing for a packed calendar with seven matches in just three weeks: five in La Liga and two in the Champions League.
The demanding run begins on Saturday, September 13, with an away clash against Real Sociedad on Matchday 4 of La Liga.
Xabi Alonso’s side will then return to the Santiago Bernabéu for back-to-back fixtures: their Champions League opener against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday, September 16, followed by a league meeting with Espanyol.
Three consecutive away games will follow, starting with Levante in midweek, before the highly anticipated derby against Atlético Madrid at the Metropolitano. Shortly after, Madrid face a long trip to Kazakhstan to play Kairat Almaty in the Champions League group stage.
This intense stretch of matches will conclude back at the Bernabéu on the first weekend of October, when Los Blancos host Villarreal on Matchday 8 of La Liga.
