Real Madrid have released an official statement after the reported incident involving Valverde and Tchouaméni during training at Valdebebas.
According to reports, a new confrontation between the two players escalated during the morning session, with Valverde later requiring hospital treatment and stitches. The situation has reportedly intensified concerns surrounding the atmosphere inside the dressing room.
The club responded by issuing the following statement:
"Real Madrid CF announces that, following the events that took place this morning in the first team training session, it has decided to open disciplinary proceedings against our players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni.
The club will announce the resolutions of both cases in due course, once the corresponding internal procedures have been completed."
