According to Sky Sport Germany, the Argentine international is one of Real Madrid's leading targets. Mac Allister has established himself at the highest level and fits the profile the club is looking for. Approaching his 28th birthday, the midfielder is entering what could be the peak years of his career, making him an attractive option for the Spanish giants.
His contractual situation could also present Real Madrid with an opportunity in the summer of 2027. Mac Allister's current deal with Liverpool expires in June 2028, and the English club has yet to offer him a new contract. Although the player reportedly appears inclined to remain at Anfield, the absence of progress on an extension could lead him to reconsider his future.
Real Madrid could also have an important advantage in their pursuit, with José Mourinho reportedly an admirer of the Argentine midfielder. According to Sky Sport Germany, the Portuguese coach appreciates Mac Allister, potentially strengthening the case for the club to pursue his signing.
