Real Madrid continue to turn their prolific youth academy into a valuable source of revenue, bringing in a total of €24.5 million so far in this summer’s transfer window through the sale of homegrown talents.

Six players from the academy have completed permanent moves, many to top-tier clubs across Spain and Europe, a testament to the continued strength and reputation of La Fábrica.

Among the notable exits is 22-year-old winger Víctor Muñoz, who made four senior appearances before completing a €5 million switch to Osasuna. Another €5 million was earned through the sale of promising left-back Rafael Obrador to Benfica, after an impressive loan at Deportivo La Coruña. Obrador is expected to fill the void left by Álvaro Carreras, who returned to Madrid following a stint in Lisbon.

Alavés signed Moroccan full-back Youssef “Yusi” Enríquez for €3 million. Though he never made a first-team appearance, he had been included in Carlo Ancelotti’s matchday squads last season, underlining his potential.

In Italy, Serie A side Como struck a €2.5 million deal for Castilla captain Jacobo Ramón. The 20-year-old centre-back featured six times for the first team and even scored a match-winning goal. Madrid retained a percentage of his rights in a co-ownership agreement. A similar deal was made for striker Álvaro Rodríguez, who joined Elche for €2.5 million.

The highest sale of the window so far was midfielder Chema, who spent the season training with the senior squad. Bundesliga side Stuttgart paid €6 million for his services.

Importantly, Real Madrid have included buy-back clauses in all six deals, a deliberate strategy to retain long-term influence over the players’ futures and avoid scenarios like the recent €50 million re-signing of Álvaro Carreras from Benfica.
