A humorous moment followed Rüdiger’s goal celebration, as the German center-back vowed to get his revenge. Asked about the playful slaps from his teammates during the celebration, Rüdiger promised that he’ll be ready to dish out payback when they score.
"First of all, the goal was very important because it made it 2-1, at the Bernabéu, in front of our fans... It was crucial. And well, if I score more goals, they can keep hitting me, but they’ll definitely score more than me, and I’ll be waiting," said the Real Madrid defender.
