Thiago Pitarch has made his international intentions clear. The Real Madrid midfielder responded to Morocco’s attempts to convince him to switch national teams with a firm message that strongly favors Spain.
“My dream? To debut with the senior national team and win titles,” he said while speaking to the official media channels of the Spanish national team.
The young midfielder also used his recent appearance with Spain’s under-19 side to underline his commitment to that path. “If I’m here, it’s because I want to get to the top. Little by little,” the Fuenlabrada-born player stated.
Pitarch’s comments arrive after renewed interest from Morocco, a country he is eligible to represent due to his family background. Despite the interest, the Real Madrid player has made it clear that his objective is to continue progressing within Spain’s national team structure.
