Pedro Machado has emerged as one of José Mourinho's most trusted assistants during the Portuguese manager's second spell at Real Madrid.

A close collaborator both professionally and personally, Machado enjoys a strong relationship with Mourinho and has become one of the key figures behind the scenes in the new coaching setup.

Unlike other members of the staff, such as Tralhão and Nuno Santos, Machado keeps a much lower public profile. However, his discreet presence does not reflect his importance within Mourinho's inner circle.

The Portuguese coach first worked with Machado at Fenerbahçe, before the pair continued together at Benfica, and he has now brought him to Real Madrid as part of his trusted coaching team.

Machado is regarded as a highly versatile coach, having previously worked as a fitness coach, performance analyst, assistant manager, and even head coach before joining Mourinho's staff. At Real Madrid, his responsibilities combine physical preparation with tactical development.

He works closely with the players on a daily basis and plays an important role in planning training sessions and preparing tactical strategies for matches. His versatility and modern approach to coaching are among the qualities that convinced Mourinho to include him in his project.

Widely viewed as one of Portugal's emerging coaching talents, Pedro Machado is expected to be an influential figure behind Real Madrid's preparations throughout the new season.
