José Mourinho was delighted with Real Madrid's emphatic 3-0 victory over Valencia at Mestalla, describing the team's performance as perfect. The Portuguese coach made no secret of his satisfaction with what he had seen from his players.

"I like this team. This team has a good feeling about it. I have a good feeling about this Real Madrid," he declared during his press conference. However, he was quick to remind everyone of the expectations at the club and warned against becoming carried away by the result. "You can never be euphoric after a victory at Real Madrid. Here, winning is the norm."

One of the aspects Mourinho highlighted was the unity within the dressing room. Asked about his contribution to the team's cohesion, the manager refused to take credit, instead praising his players. "All the credit belongs to the players. They've managed to stay united. I don't know what I've done to bring them together; I simply do my job."

He also stressed that every member of the squad feels involved, including those who receive fewer minutes. "When one of those players makes the starting eleven, the others are happy for him. Everyone knows they'll have their role," he explained.

Mourinho also addressed Real Madrid's defensive performance, offering a straightforward explanation for their success in that area. "We defended well because we had possession, so we hardly had to defend."

The Portuguese coach then turned his attention to LaLiga's fixture scheduling, strongly criticising the lack of recovery time following Real Madrid's trip to Athens. Mourinho expressed frustration over the accumulation of matches and the limited rest available to his players.

"I have no message for Javier Tebas. I have to be humble because they have all the power. I only ask that they don't do this to us again," he said.

The manager questioned the difference in rest periods between Real Madrid and other teams, recalling that the squad returned from Athens at 3:00 am, forcing the players to sleep at Valdebebas. "It makes no sense, it's a joke. I ask them to leave us in peace," he concluded.
