Real Madrid secured their third consecutive victory with another emphatic performance at the Santiago Bernabéu. Mourinho's side avoided any setbacks ahead of El Clásico, overcoming a tense encounter against Sevilla to maintain their positive momentum at a crucial stage of the season.

The coach praised the victory and also addressed the controversy surrounding Arda Güler's challenge, which Sevilla argued should have resulted in a straight red card.

"I'm not commenting. I want to avoid Luis García's words, not the controversy. Nobody has been able to show me what they say happened; I don't have a single image. I've asked everyone for images, including my staff, and I haven't been able to find any footage of the things they're talking about that have upset Luis. I'm telling you honestly that if something happens that has benefited us, I won't have any problem coming forward and saying so. But I think the opposite is going to happen much more often because that's the natural tendency. If someone sends me a clear image by Saturday of something I haven't seen, and that Güler also says didn't happen, I'll be there. But for now, nothing. I ask you: Have any of you seen a clear image? I don't understand the obsession with something that wasn't even seen."
