José Mourinho continues to work on the final details of his Real Madrid squad while several players remain occupied with the World Cup.

The Portuguese coach has already identified the club's main priorities for the remainder of the transfer window. Strengthening the defense with another center-back and adding a midfielder remain at the top of the agenda as Real Madrid look to complete key areas of the squad.

However, those may not be the only additions before the market closes. Mourinho is also reportedly open to the arrival of a traditional center forward, a profile that would provide the team with a different attacking option when matches require a more direct approach.

The idea would be to have a specialist number nine capable of offering an alternative from the bench, similar to the role Joselu played during his time at the club. Such a player could give Real Madrid another tactical solution in difficult matches or when chasing results.

Importantly, the potential arrival of a striker would not alter Mourinho's plans for Endrick. The Brazilian remains a key part of the coach's project and is expected to have an important role in the squad next season.

Mourinho values Endrick's versatility, with the youngster capable of playing both through the middle and on the right flank. As a result, the addition of a traditional striker would be viewed as complementary rather than direct competition for the Brazilian talent.

With the transfer window still open, Real Madrid continue evaluating opportunities that could further strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign.
