Real Madrid defeated Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu in a match defined by a series of spectacular goals. The hosts laid the foundations for victory with a superb first-half performance, highlighted by two outstanding strikes from Arda Güler and Kylian Mbappé.

Mbappé found the net again after the break, converting a penalty he had won himself with a Panenka-style finish. Manu Bueno pulled one back for Sevilla, but Diomande restored Real Madrid's three-goal advantage with a brilliant individual effort, finishing with a powerful strike from the edge of the box to make it 4-1.

The closing stages also brought an emotional moment as Éder Militão returned to action for the first time since suffering an injury on April 21. The Brazilian defender received a standing ovation from the Bernabéu crowd, who also voiced their displeasure towards Javier Tebas and Joan Laporta amid the controversy surrounding the Negreira case.
