Kylian Mbappé has been named among the 11 nominees for the 2025 The Best FIFA Men’s Player award. The Real Madrid forward earned his place on the shortlist after winning the Golden Boot last season as the top scorer across European leagues. With Real Madrid, he also lifted both the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup, scoring in each of the finals.
Among the other nominees are Dembélé, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, and Hakimi (PSG); Harry Kane (Bayern Munich); Pedri, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal (Barcelona); Mohamed Salah (Liverpool); and Cole Palmer (Chelsea).
The winner will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony on a date yet to be confirmed. Voting is open until November 28, and the selection will be made by an international jury comprising current men's national team coaches and captains (one per country), a specialist journalist from each territory, and fans registered on FIFA.com worldwide.
Candidates were chosen by a panel of FIFA experts based on their performances and overall conduct, both on and off the pitch, during the period from 11 August 2024 to 2 August 2025.
