Kylian Mbappé is reportedly playing a key role behind the scenes in Real Madrid's pursuit of Michael Olise.

According to BILD, the French forward has informed club president Florentino Pérez that he has convinced his international teammate to choose Real Madrid. During the World Cup, Mbappé is said to have encouraged Olise to join him in the Spanish capital, stressing that the club needs a player of his profile and highlighting both life in Madrid and the opportunity to play together at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The report claims Mbappé has presented the move as a unique opportunity, with the pair hoping to continue the strong partnership they have developed with the French national team at club level.

Olise's desire to join Real Madrid has reportedly become an important factor in the transfer saga. Recent reports have suggested the Bayern Munich winger wants to wear the white shirt and is not considering any destination other than Los Blancos.

However, Bayern remain firm in their position and have publicly ruled out negotiations for the French international. Even so, Olise's stance could increase the pressure on the German club as Real Madrid continue to monitor the situation.

Florentino Pérez is believed to view Olise as one of the club's marquee transfer targets, although any deal will depend on Bayern's willingness to negotiate in the coming weeks.
