Kylian Mbappé has raised concerns in France, with the situation also drawing attention at Real Madrid. After Konaté left the national team camp, the French striker suffered an apparent knee problem during the match against Turkey.
The incident occurred shortly before the hour mark, moments after Mbappé scored the opening goal and marked the start of Zinédine Zidane's tenure as France manager. He received the ball on the left side of the penalty area and prepared to shoot. However, as he went to celebrate after finding the net, he appeared to realize that something was wrong.
The problem occurred in his left leg, the leg he used to support himself when striking the ball. As he made contact with the ball, Mbappé appeared to make a small jump before immediately stopping as he began his celebration.
France's medical staff quickly came onto the pitch to assess him. Mbappé initially attempted to continue, but after returning to the field and trying to make a short run, he stopped again and signaled for a substitution. His visible discomfort, including covering his face, indicated his concern over the issue.
