Manuel Ángel is nearing a move to Almería, with the Andalusian club’s proposal currently the closest to being finalized after several offers emerged for the Real Madrid academy midfielder in recent weeks.

According to journalist Ángel García, Real Madrid are willing to approve a deal worth €6 million for 50% of the player’s rights. Almería are open to this arrangement and see Manuel Ángel as a high-level addition to their squad as they target promotion to the top flight under García Pimienta.

The potential move would bring an end to the uncertainty surrounding the midfielder’s future. Manuel Ángel is not part of José Mourinho’s plans, while both the player and Real Madrid believe that his time with Castilla has come to an end.

The priority has been to find him a destination in the top flight or at a club with realistic promotion ambitions. Almería fits that profile, making the move increasingly likely.
