Michael Olise has reportedly made Real Madrid his preferred destination for next season.
According to the French newspaper L'Équipe, the Bayern Munich winger has told his France teammates during the World Cup that he intends to leave the German club and join Real Madrid. The publication features the story on its front page.
Olise's name has previously been linked with Real Madrid after Florentino Pérez mentioned during the club's presidential election campaign that the club had considered a €150 million move for a global superstar. The president later clarified that he was not referring to the French international.
The report adds that Real Madrid are aware of Olise's desire to join the club and are expected to explore the possibility of a transfer after the World Cup.
However, completing the deal will be difficult, as Bayern Munich have repeatedly insisted they are not willing to sell one of their key players.
