The clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City may not have been overly heated, but it still produced a tense moment after the final whistle.
Pep Guardiola showed class by congratulating the entire Madrid staff and players following the match. However, as cameras from Movistar+ captured, things took a different turn when he approached Antonio Rüdiger.
After exchanging a handshake, the two engaged in a brief conversation that appeared to upset the German defender, who walked away visibly frustrated. Guardiola, on the other hand, responded with a smile and even blew kisses in Rüdiger’s direction.
Sensing the situation, Álvaro Arbeloa quickly intervened, pulling Rüdiger away to avoid any escalation or potential disciplinary consequences, especially given the defender’s importance to the team.
