Real Madrid have reportedly not ruled out a move for Michael Olise this summer despite confirming that no negotiations have taken place with Bayern Munich or the player's representatives.
Following the club's recent statement regarding Enzo Fernández, attention has turned to the different wording used in relation to Olise. While Real Madrid firmly denied interest in Enzo, the club only stated that there had been no contact over the Bayern Munich attacker, leaving room for speculation about a future move.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the situation surrounding Olise is different from that of Enzo Fernández. Although there are currently no talks between the clubs or with the player's camp, Florentino Pérez remains a strong admirer of the French international, and the possibility of a future transfer has not been ruled out.
The report also claims that Pérez views Olise as a potential future Galáctico. After deciding against pursuing Enzo Fernández or another midfielder, Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to maintain their current options in midfield while preserving financial resources for a possible move for the Bayern Munich forward.
According to the report, the club's spending this summer has already been balanced by income from player sales, including transfers involving Nico Paz and Víctor Muñoz. As a result, Real Madrid could wait until later in the transfer window before making another major signing.
