Enrique Riquelme has started to reveal details of his electoral project ahead of the Real Madrid presidential elections on June 7, hinting at some of the key figures he hopes will help convince club members to support his candidacy.

Speaking upon his arrival at the NH Málaga for an event with representatives of supporters' clubs, Riquelme confirmed that more information about his sporting project would soon be made public.

“Tonight we will begin to talk about our sports project and we will give names,” the candidate said.

Riquelme also announced that he plans to reveal the identity of a major signing in the coming days.

“On Wednesday I will reveal the first name of the world star we have secured,” he continued.

The presidential candidate also spoke about former Real Madrid captain Fernando Hierro, who currently works as a sporting director.

“Fernando Hierro is a legend and we like him.”

Riquelme added that his project includes significant additions aimed at strengthening the club's competitiveness.

The candidate pledged to give "at least two names, two stars who are fundamental and will change the dynamics of making the club even more competitive, which is the ideal."
