Enrique Riquelme, a candidate in the Real Madrid presidential elections, appeared on The Wild Project, the popular podcast hosted by Jordi Wild (Jorge Carrillo de Albornoz Torres), where he discussed several topics related to Real Madrid and Spanish football.
During the interview, Riquelme made strong remarks about Barcelona that quickly attracted attention.
"I want to see Barcelona in the Second Division. I'd love it. I wouldn't have any problem with it and I'd be happy. And it's not meant as disrespect... I'd also like Barcelona to disappear. I wouldn't have any problem with that either."
The comments came as part of a broader conversation about football rivalries and the current landscape of Spanish football, with Riquelme sharing his views on Real Madrid's historic rival.
