Luka Doncic’s dream of bringing the NBA to Spain is inching closer to reality. On Friday's "La Tribu," journalist Pipi Estrada revealed a private conversation between the Los Angeles Lakers star and Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
"Doncic has spoken with Florentino Pérez about the possibility of the Lakers playing at the Bernabéu; it would be a Real Madrid-Lakers game," Pipi Estrada shared on Radio MARCA. "It would be a sold-out event. This is Doncic's dream, and he has discussed it with Florentino to make it happen," he continued.
The journalist also reflected on the immense demand such an event would generate: "Would a stadium be filled for Real Madrid-Lakers? It would be a spectacle, with 80,000 people attending," Pipi added on La Tribu.
