Marc Cucurella has called for calm following Real Madrid's inconsistent start to the season. The Whites have already suffered two defeats in LaLiga, against Real Betis and Atlético de Madrid, results that have prompted the first criticism of José Mourinho's team. Despite the setbacks, the full-back believes it is still too early to draw conclusions about the squad's performance.
“If the season ends the way we all want, nobody will remember this start or the two defeats,” Cucurella said during an interview with El Larguero, in comments later reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The defender remains confident that Real Madrid can overcome its early difficulties and compete for all available titles. To do so, the team will need to improve its defensive solidity and show greater consistency against the strongest opponents.
Cucurella, one of the team's recent signings, believes the focus should remain on staying calm and assessing the project once the decisive stage of the season arrives.
