Before their match against Cruzeiro, the São Paulo-based side posed for a photo covering their mouths with their shirts, displaying a clear message: “Racism is a crime. Report it.”

The gesture, which originated during the confrontation involving the Benfica player and Vinícius, is now becoming a broader symbol in the fight against racism.

Meanwhile, UEFA and Portuguese authorities are continuing their investigation into the events that took place last week at the Estádio da Luz. Should the allegations be substantiated, disciplinary action could follow.
