Real Madrid Castilla earned a 2–2 draw during their visit to Arenteiro in Matchday 27 of the Primera Federación.
Castilla started strongly and took the lead after the first quarter of an hour. Mario Rivas rose highest in the box to score with a powerful header, giving the visitors an early advantage.
However, Arenteiro responded before halftime. Mingo equalized in the 36th minute, leveling the match before the break. In the second half, Diego Moreno completed the turnaround, putting the home side ahead and forcing Castilla to chase the game.
The Madrid side refused to give up, and their persistence paid off when Roberto Martín found the net with another spectacular header, making it 2–2 and rescuing a point for the visitors.
The match also saw a tense moment late on. In the 88th minute, the referee temporarily stopped the game after an object was thrown toward one of the assistant referees. After a delay of roughly 10 minutes, play resumed, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
