Arsène Wenger, the iconic French coach who led Arsenal from 1996 to 2018, has raised doubts about Vinicius Jr.'s future at Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid has a question mark over Vinicius,” he said during an appearance on beIN Sports, comments which were later featured on Josep Pedrerol’s show El Chiringuito.
The 76-year-old coach added, “I’m not fully convinced that Vinicius’ future is at Real Madrid.”
According to Wenger, the Brazilian’s reaction to being substituted in El Clásico “was not well received at Real Madrid.” He also underlined one key principle at the club: “Real Madrid has always had one clear intention — to show that the institution is bigger than any player.”
