Federico Valverde amazed the football world with a sensational display in Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Manchester City.

The Uruguayan midfielder scored all three goals for Los Blancos, completing a stunning hat-trick in just 22 minutes.

His former coach, now the head of the Brazil national football team, Carlo Ancelotti reacted to the performance with his characteristic humor.

“Was I surprised Valverde scored? No. But the three goals did surprise me,” Ancelotti said.

“I even sent him a message: ‘Too bad you don’t have a Brazilian passport.’”
