Negotiations between Real Madrid and Manchester City for Rodri Hernández are continuing, with the two clubs now focused on resolving the final details of a potential transfer.

According to the latest reports, talks are progressing positively from Real Madrid's perspective, but one major issue remains unresolved: the final transfer fee. Manchester City are reportedly demanding around €80 million, while Real Madrid's current proposal is closer to €60 million.

The €20 million gap between the two valuations is currently the main obstacle standing in the way of an agreement. Both clubs will need to find common ground if the deal is to move forward.

Real Madrid are said to be fully convinced that Rodri is the profile the squad needs to improve its midfield control and address the weaknesses seen last season. Reports from L'Équipe previously indicated that Los Blancos are considering offering the Spain international a four-year contract, keeping him at the Santiago Bernabéu until 2030.

Rodri has reportedly already expressed his desire to join Real Madrid this summer, meaning the remaining challenge is reaching an agreement with Manchester City over the transfer fee.
