Kylian Mbappé has been chosen as the Champions League Player of the Week by users of uefa.com. The French forward was the standout performer against Olympiacos, scoring all four goals, including three in less than seven minutes, to secure Real Madrid’s victory. In the voting process, Mbappé finished ahead of Aubameyang, Guirassy and Vitinha.
Mbappé, who delivered a remarkable display in Athens, receives this award for the second time this season. He previously won it on matchday two, when he recorded a hat-trick against Kairat Almaty.
